you probly have a car by now, but i was gunna say mk3 1.3, they hav bad reviews by people that have driven before or that are spoilt and say every car is crap, but i love mine and it is fast for a 1st car and cheap, the money, well i paid £350 for mine, but mine has xr2i alloys, and thats most of the cost

of course a zetec engine is quicker silly, but if ur like me and dont want a zetec or cant afford it, then get a 1.3, n its not slow for a 1st car, ive drove civics n things, its slow compared to them but its a fast car in general

that engine is traced back to the 60's was called a kent engine back then. personally i didnt like the 1.3 too old and far too tappety.

I have a fiesta mk5 1.3. Stay away from the 1.3 engine as its very slow. Get an Zetec engine
