This daylong Teacher Training Workshop was offered at Berkeley City College on July 11, 2009. Co-facilitated by Joanie Farley Gillispie, Ph.D., John Howarth of U.C. Berkeley Hall of Science, and Maxine Einhorn of KQED's Educational Network, close to 50 participants received hands-on practice and training in four fundamentals for empowering students in the 21st Century: Collaboration, Creativity, Media Literacy, and Critical Thinking. This CTE Pipeline Program was made possible by a generous grant from the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office.
