I always thought Elliott sounded a lot like Alex Chilton of Big Star..I wouldn't compare either of them to Blink-182 haha.

I know this sounds really lame, but Elliott Smith inspired me to write music; he's kind of my hero. The first song of his that really brought me in was "Rose Parade" and then this cover.
