Incubus - New Skin (live soundcheck) 08/11/97

This was the first song of a 2 song soundcheck from San Francisco in 1997. The guys were great and always happy to let a good fan hang out and promote their music. Now that they are huge it's nice to look back on how it was before their first album was released. And also I will say that out of all frontmen out there I think Brandon Boyd is the best pure singer I've ever heard. Dude can sing.

I recorded this personally in 1997 a month before SCIENCE was released. This was actually the soundcheck for a free show where Incubus was the second of three bands. Very few people were familiar with them but those of us lucky enough knew they had a bright future.
