my car is a 2004 gm malibu classic 2.2 lter ecootec and i found a engine code po420 there it runs very great ! we have no emmissions test in coloradoo. but i called al sierra chevy and they said we cant "replace " the cat on your car! w.t.f.??

Same thing as a slipping clutch, hey why dont you get it fixed .

my dad mdx was hit and it doing this after repaired...dealer said replace with new tranny. my uncle took outs the tranmission sensor ,hit with hammer and it works perfectt and trouble free.
it was probably a fluid restriction in one the tranmission lines.
