@musamoloch Yes, Cuaron nailed the spirit of the book.

Dumbledore's past is touched upon, but not told flat-out because the films follow Harry's journey.

Young Lily's eyes differing from her adult self is a production error I can forgive. The prophecy about Pettigrew in the Prince's Tale might be because some of the clips were intentionally shown out-of-sequence, but it was an odd choice to make. But, I loved the Prince's Tale scene overall.

@mowingthebacklawn Yes, Cuaron cut something, BUT i think this movie is the best of all the 8, he catchs the spirit of the book.

Yeats cuts more and worse... Half-blood Prince is like a teen movie and in Deathly Hallows part 1 and 2 there's no referring to all Dumbledore's past, the Prince's Tale is really bad done: Lily's eyes as a child are BROWN, the prophecy heard is the one about Peter Pettigrew and not the one referring to the child, many of the memories are not Snape's memories and so on
