Mega Man 8-Bit 3D Deathmatch Demo

Well, lets take a quick break from the normal videos to show you guys a demo of a Doom II Mod. This is basically a large Megaman Deathmatch complete with custom levels and custom weapons.

This video is a sample of my second time playing the demo. The first attempt was spent mapping my controls (since I am not usually fond of Doom) and making sure that I did not run into eggregious bugs (it was fine).

First impressions is that I love where this mod is going. From what I understand, the game will eventually include all levels and weapons from MM1-6 (and MAYBE MM9) but it was cool to get a 3D take on weapons such as the Leaf Shield, Napalm Bomb, Bubble Lead, and Shadow Blade. There is more to it like a Rush Coil, Atomic Fire, and E-tanks but I didn't get the chance to really experiment with them yet. Take all of that and add an online option... people's hours will start disappearing from the day when you get 16 person Mega Deathmatches.

@Metalsonic2008 Actually, if it's actually based on Doom itself, it's not even a 3D environment. I forget the specifics, but while the old Doom games LOOK 3D, they're still not. It's just a rendering method meant to simulate 3D without actual 3D rendering.
