  • The bagpipes absouletly make this song! They make me think of Strago. Old odd man :)

  • @Falstaff85 i think the bagpipes would have worked if they had mixed them in correctly. As it is, they just blast you because they are so much louder than the rest of the music.

Personally, though, I think penny whistles would have been a much better fit for the bagpipe part.

  • My gripe with the bagpipes is that he doesn't do all that much with them. So it makes the attacks toward the beginning seem out of place... like a rhino that crashes into a shelf full of fine china. As the saying goes, "An elephant in a china shop". Too bad, as the rest of the piece is absolutely wonderful...

  • I'm sorry, i just can't get behind the bagpipes...this song is beautiful beautiful beautiful and then WHAM come the bagpipes.

  • dude this brought me tears

  • @greendagger87

Nobuo Uematsu is the original composer of the music for the game. Shiro Sagisu did the live instrument arrangements. Think of it as a "cover version."

  • @SpacemanSchmuck i thought it was nobuo umatesue heloooo ff

  • yes yes yes yes. Shiro Sagisu did the arrangement for these, you know! The composer for Evangelion! :D :D :D
