AKA Purest Feeling, these 1988 demos were recorded at The Right Track Studio, Cleveland, OH. Each track is significantly different than those found on NIN's (Trent Reznor) 1989 debut Pretty Hate Machine. The unreleased instrumental intro to "Sanctified" is called "Slate".

i'm glad the internet exists- a few years ago in ireland, i struggled to get NIN cds - but i would NEVER EVER have heard this stuff. not sure if purest feeling is 100% up my street but this is really cool

@ninslipknot204 You're insane. He worshiped each producer and picked them. I asked him when I met him in 89 how he lined up so many great producers.. Sherwood, LeBlanc, Fryer, Flood. He said he basically had to sign almost all of his profits over to be able to land them. You do know Sherwood and LeBlanc factored heavily on Ministry's Twitch, right? On Trent's farewell tour vid performance (here on YT) he said he was wearing the same Ministry T in the PHM sessions as a fan in the audience.

I love the PHM recordings, and ever nin recording for that matter, but man, the guitar and samples on these demos really are a great touch, much more defining.
