I broke several bones in my hand on a visor. So yes you can hurt your hand on a visor/helmet. Maybe I should have drank my milk.

Dude I played in the BCHL for four years where every player is required to wear a half shield (visor), I fought many times and I've seen hundreds of fights where guys go at it with their visor on and guess what! No one EVER hurt their hand on a fucking visor. Actually, the guy wearing the visor is more vulnerable. This guy hit my visor one time with a punch, it came down and hit me square in the mouth, knocking out two of my front teeth. Visors have no support like cages, it won't hurt ur hand.

I believe visors are required in the AHL, so they are both wearing visors to start. Fitzy just managed to pull/push his helmet off...so its not like he jumped a guy and hid behind his visor. The guy deserved what he got for running a guy from behind.

oh yeah and HAD that guy NOT slammed fitzy into the boards fitzy wouldn't have had to defend himself. by the time fitz got his first punch in that guy was up and looking @ him.

brandon (or w/e) was so not on one knee... fitzy got a clean shot @ him that's just the way it is... it's not fitzy's fault that he's a decent fighter.
