Datblygu Cynaliadwy sy'n Seiliedig ar Wasanaethau Ecosystemau / The Ecosystem Services Approach to Sustainable Development

Mae'r sgwrs hon yn cyflwyno dull o reoli'r amgylchedd sydd wedi'i seilio ar ecosystemau ac adnoddau naturiol. Dull yw hwn sy'n cael ei ddatblygu gan y Cyngor Cefn Gwlad ar hyn o bryd i gyd-fynd â chynllun amgylcheddol newydd Llywodraeth Cymru, Fframwaith yr Amgylchedd Naturiol.
Nod y cynllun hwn yw:

'sicrhau fod gan Gymru ecosystemau cynyddol gryf ac amrywiol sy'n gallu darparu manteision economaidd, amgylcheddol a chymdeithasol.'

Rydym yn archwilio sut y gallwn ddefnyddio Systemau Gwybodaeth Ddaearyddol i'n helpu i fynd ati i reoli'n hamgylchedd drwy'r dull hwn, gan ddefnyddio Bwrdeistref Sirol Pen-y-bont ar Ogwr fel enghraifft.

This talk introduces the 'Ecosystem Approach' to managing our environment and its natural resources currently being developed by CCW to support the Welsh Government's new environment initiative, the Natural Environment Framework.

The aim of this initiative is 'to ensure that Wales has increasingly resilient and diverse ecosystems that deliver economic, environmental and social benefits?.'

We are exploring how we can use Geographical Information Systems to help implement this approach to managing our environment, using Bridgend County Borough as an example.
