Dr. Perry Renshaw, M.D., Ph.D. is Director of the Brain Imaging Center at
McLean Hospital and Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He is the leading scientific researcher on the health benefits of Citicoline. Dr. Renshaw attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where he received his Ph.D. in biophysics and his M.D..
The author of over 150 peer reviewed articles, Dr, Renshaw has served on a number of grant review committees as well as on the National Advisory Council on Drug Abuse. He has received numerous awards and honors for his research, including the Gerald L. Klerman Award for Clinical Research from the National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression - and the Pharmacopsychiatry Section Prize from the World Psychiatric Association.
His research has focused on the use of magnetic resonance spectroscopy to study disease and treatment related changes in brain chemistry. Both the National Institute of Mental Health and the National Institute on Drug Abuse have supported Dr. Renshaw's research.
