Paris WarZone, Student Life-size and Real-time MMRTG Game for Android Phones

Paris Warzone is a student project done in two weeks for the Android courses at Ecole Centrale d'Electronique in Paris. More information on http://gawgle.net/.

This real-time and life-size strategy game makes Paris the real terrain where you play. You have to move through the city to make actions with your team. You can build virtual towers which create a safe area with a radius of 500m where the ennemy would be attacked if it stays in more than 4 minutes. But the ennemy can also destroy them by quickly dropping a bomb inside the area at less of 100m of their center.

The game works and have been tested. Many things have to be improved, but we did not have the time (2 weeks) to do everything we wanted. The technology used is Android for the client-side, and PHP/MySQL/JSON for the server-side. A minimal anti-cheat system is installed.

Paris Warzone is not dedicated to Paris : it can works everywhere. But it appears the word "Paris" makes thing nicer, so ... ;-) (indeed it is so right !)
