Tina Fey's daughter had a baby?

So in other words if you're rich or famous, teen pregnancy is ok? Hmmm alright....
-
lololol y'all just keep eating the shit, and they'll keep pumping it out for you! Bon apetit!

@shinton90 I figure you're probably not into religion; frankly, I hate Churchianity, but I think Christianity is pretty freakin' great. Consider, if you will, Matthew 20:1-16. The salient point is this: you get paid to do your job. Whether your performance is better or worse than any other is irrelevant; whether your industry is more or less important than another is also irrelevant: you are paid according to the bargain you made. Don't be envious of the bargain someone else made.
-
@shinton90 And your point is what? She didn't write the PSA? WTF difference does it make if it's not "HER" words? WTF difference does it make if she got paid? Lots of speakers get paid for delivering messages in which they ostensibly believe, using words ultimately authored by someone else -- and normal people don't have a problem with that. Why does it bother you?
-
@shinton90 Neither mad nor angry. You?

People need to calm down on the comments here. She's a paid example, so what? You think the other celebrities we see on tv do this kind of stuff for free? She got the point across, and she is simply saying that she's lucky to have the things she has in life, because most teen moms don't. But that doesn't make motherhood for her any easier. In my opinion she had it a lot harder than most, the entire country knew about her pregnancy and they didn't always have kind things to say about it either.

@Wireflight1 P.S. Umad?
-
@Wireflight1 That's just it --- this ISN'T HER message. Someone else wrote it! She's a paid puppet, chosen because she made a mistake. She's a PAID example. The problem is not the message - it's that she's getting credit for being "such a good person" when she's just another paid testimonial. Jeeze.

@shinton90 Her message is that teens should think before they act. Historically, women were fully legal adults at 4321 days (12 yrs +1 day; 360-day years); men were fully legal adults at 4681 days (13 yrs +1 day; 360-day years). Parents had that long to teach children everything necessary RE selecting a mate & parenting, making & keeping contracts & covenants, behaving responsibly AS adults. Libs, now conservatives, don't allow that natural progress: she says be responsible or don't do it.
"Bristol Palin made $262,500 speaking out against teen pregnancy on behalf of the nonprofit group Candie's Foundation, reports the AP. Yep, both the sum and the word "nonprofit" are correct. AP got the figure from the group's 2009 tax information. Think Progress provides the kicker: A closer look at the tax form shows that the group doled out only $35,000 in grants to teen health clinics."

No she is saying dont look to her for a role model. Dont get pregnant as a teen you wont have all the support she has. She was lucky to have a rich family and she knows how hard it would be if she didn't! You guys probably got pregnant and now are mad at people who dont even know you trying to make a better life for you and your baby!
