Damn, she even put all of herself into her performances when she was just beginning. Man, that's a real artist! Bravo!

this is one of her most underrated songs....its classic gotta love the 1st album......

Not everyone should, could, would be behind a microphone stand belting it out and shaking it. I think the real gravity here is each and everyone of us can be whatever it is we want to be.

she is the number one self-made star - nobody will ever be like her. I love you Madonna!

lol It's hard to believe that productions like this led to her being a superstar: some corny MC, microphone feedback, obviously homemade "costumes" and bad, overly simple choreography.

But I suppose the important thing was how catchy "Everybody" was. The audience seemed apathetic at the beginning, but were cheering pretty loudly after her performance.

I guess perhaps that if you ACT like a mega star, then eventually, people will believe you ARE one!

Yes, absolutely I think that was a good part of it.
