BMW Motorcycles Concept 6 (Long Version)

The BMW Concept 6 now proves that a straight-six, benefiting from the most advanced construction and production technology, may offer not only unique prestige, but also a supreme standard of riding dynamics.

The new BMW straight-six will further expand the K-Series in the foreseeable future. The first model to be introduced will be an innovative and luxurious BMW touring machine. Reflecting the tradition of the BMW K-Series, this will of course be a genuine top-of-the-line product.

It's a highlight at the EICMA this year. The BMW Motorrad Concept 6 is a six-cylinder bike and stands for supreme smoothness and superior power. The new BMW straight-six will further expand the K-Series in the foreseeable future.

@toczauer lol I suppose anachronism is not far off. These days when I imagine buying a new ride the latest model bikes are not on my top ten wish list. I do like the KTM RC8 and the new soon to be released Buell, 1190 I think it is called, and some others. What I really want is a 1972 Moto Guzzi V7 Sport in that wonderful acid green they did then. @calineophyte You're not a hater, just an anachronism. Same problem Harley has; some core fans can't appreciate or adopt new technology. Thank God, BMW has the good sense to bring us up-to-date, cutting edge technology, and with it, new buyers from the next generation. This bike is a stunning concept! I hope they plug this motor into the K12/13/16S style. Or better yet, just make it as is and call it the K1600S. I would definitely let go of my wonderful K12S for this.

Is this what happens when car guys design motorcycles? BMW motorcycles used to be elegant but this looks very heavy handed to me. Just my opinion but I do own a BMW R100RS motorcycle so I am not a hater of the brand.
