Alyona also takes a look at the new film, The Men Who Stare at Goats, as a humorous representation of wasteful military spending. This leads to a discussion of a new Pentagon program that sends social scientists to Afghanistan. Also, Alyona compares American defense advertisements with those from abroad. And then, RT viewers get a sneak peek at the brand new studio that is in the works in the Washington D.C. bureau.

Alyona totally ROCKS! It is a source of national pride to know that one's government is capable of providing its constituents with healthcare. America's inability to do so reveals a plethora of glaring societal weaknesses on the most basic of levels. Whether its a pan-demic or a series of violent demands to hospital access by irate loved ones, the road to universal healthcare, like the weekend or the 40 hour work week, will sadly be paved with the blood of the less fortunate.
