@NGSVALETING i started takeing my dog out ferreting at 3 month old but she wood sumtimes mess about with the ferrets at about 4 an a half month she started to joine in pining neted rabbs and runing after boltters she 1 year old now and she is doing mint will run at anything

@bummer2k9 no as long as its got longdog in its blood ie whippit/grayhound/salukie/deer­houned and so on will catch game you just got to show your dog and let it chace as much as poss my pup as not corght out yet but she geting better with evry run

For a first run, i'd say they dog has excellent potential, but I dont know jack either

My 1 yr old lurcher will go after hares and gets close enough to grab them but wont. She just chases it like she would another dog.

Must have the only lurcher in the world that wont catch anything.

I've trained my Labrador cross springer spaneil for rabbiting you might be suprised with the breed but she is coming on well, i might get a long dog - eny recomendation in beeds for a young 12 year old like me?
