  • Matt Killen is painful. Its not with hands? Your kidding!

  • Matt Killen is painful

  • There is no way in the world he is not hitting. He is one strong dude with some serious hand speed as well. Most hacks who swing like this can't hit the ball anywhere.

  • his exceptional hip/hand speed is worth noting. natural phenomena

  • So it's like the shoulder and arm being pushed in The Golfing Machines Hitters concept.I have tried both swinging and hitting and always found hitting was more consostent for me.Since I rely on both there rear shoulder and my rotation.just never heard called a punch.

    Thanks

  • Punch elbow means the right elbow is to the side of the hip pitch elbow is more in front of the belly. Punch elbow works well for hitters and leads to an earlier release of the angles than pitch. In a pure swinging action pitch elbow leads to a later snap release ala Garcia and Hogan. Holmes is a big powerful lump and I am pretty sure is a hitter not swinger with his right arm straightening by tricep power rather than inertly thrown out by the pivot. With that action Punch elbow works better.

  • Thats good. This is Homer Kelly's swingers move.Much easier to clear the hips when the shoulders are controling the handle. Also with his backswing ,especially the right shoulder gives him a huge arc.He should be a better player with such a short controlled swing..?...

  • What is a punch elbow and why is not good?

  • a lot like the swing in Joe Dante's 4 Magic Moves

    book from the 50's.

maintain those flying wedges by letting the pivot wallop the ball.....

  • he swings the grip,
