  • @187ciFTW They've already done that, genius. Have you not bothered to listen to their original songs? They pretty much created a whole new genre of metal. This is JUST A COVER. Jesus. Never did they try to be Jethro. My advice is listen to their other stuff (ex., the rest of this album and the previous ones) and stfu.

  • How could someone dislike this? This is a song of calm, determined dignity in the face of possible death or the dealing of it out to the attacker. Darn cool stuff. We need more of it.

  • Better than the original.

  • Fabulous sound, except I'm missing that potent descending bass on the original that totally blew me away. That bass was totally magic. Everything else in your version is fantastic.

  • A remarkably authentic interpretation of the epic classic. And if you don't like it, then we clearly have differing tastes in music.

  • Fuckin-fuckin great...

  • good cover ^^

  • @HaldirOfLorien I don't like this vocalist. He sings in pitch but the tone sounds shitty.

  • This is really great! A very epic feel. I would even go so far as to say I prefer this cover to Tull's original.

  • One of my favourite JT songs covered by one of my favourite metal bands - and a very good cover at that - some metal covers tend to insult the original (not ALWAYS a bad thing) but this is a pretty faithful interpretation.

    I like it :)

  • @flyingspagetti No, it's just that Europeans - or, at least, ones like you - are looking for people you can label ignorant so you can feel better about . . . what? yourself maybe?

  • @broadswordbeast Yes, Detective O. B. Vious, I know this. My comment had nothing whatsoever to do with who or who didn't write this. Not that what I know is of any importance. . . what matters is that decades later this song is still remembered, still rocks, and makes a damn compelling, stronghearted tune . . . especially with a rendition this masterful.
