I was really shocked and upset when I first viewed this lecture.
Luckily, the fine men and women down at Fox News have assured me that Chomsky is wrong, and that all aggression, violations of international law, and crimes against humanity perpetrated by the U.S. are just hunky-dory, and that it's actually liberals and independent thinkers that are the problem.
Whew.... I was worried there a moment.

The US was FOUNDED upon the genocide perpetrated against the 'red man', the Native Americans who REALLY discovered America thousands of years before Columbus, a johnny come lately.
The US, in particular, was clearly planning another genocide against Black Americans and would have finished the job against a race that is STILL CONFINED TO RESERVATIONS --a polite word for concentration camp.
Nothing will change short of revolution.

Remember - What the media reports is NOT what the government bodies necessarily agree to do with search and seizure procedure. Let me put it this way - finance reform is the most DANGEROUS " act as long with the first patriot act. Simply the Imperial Grand Strategy = fascism pure and simple!
