I have UA-4FX! Great stuff!
-
All I'm looking for is a portable interface that has a balanced out to active speakers..not hugely bothered about inputs...looking at the UA-25EX but will the UA-1G do what I want also and is there much difference in the internals of the boxes?
-
is there any difference between brandnames? performance or added features?

In BRAZIL TOO!!!

Since when is Edirol gear branded as Cakewalk?

First comment, I love Roland and music. I think companies like these make the life of a musician a lot easier. Not only by making good equipment but increasing the compatibility within their brand. I wish Roland made some kick ass guitars and basses like Ibanez, After that i'd be more than happy to be brand-faithful and i would seek for an endorsement by this company. Too bad it's mostly about profits and monopoly these days.
Yes, these are the same Edirol products just branded Cakewalk. Edirol still carries hardware for video editing, Cakewalk has adopted their audio interfaces.
