One of the coolest names for a computer ever, along with "Jupiter Ace" and "Dragon 32" (also, before the Atari handheld, there was an unpopular computer called the "Lynx". We need more computers named after spaceships, mythic beasts, planets, and wild cats).

what a cool ad!

Love EP :)

Ah well, no biggie. I forgot to comment on this commercial being cool anyway :)

Ah. I could have sworn that it was 1986.

Nope, Max Headroom was created during the same year, in 1985. Check it out at the internet movie database; can't put up a whole link here (of course), but here's part of it:
imdb dot you know what title/tt0089568/

That doesn't make any sense, though. Max Headroom was created in 1986, and the Enterprise 128 came and went in 1985. Unless the ad agency produced a commercial for a client that had gone bankrupt a year earlier, Max Headroom couldn't have been an influence.

The trippy voice deal is due to the computer general Max Headroom character from back then. He talked like that a lot.

It's a shame this computer never really picked up (except in Hungary), since it's a really great machine.
Very cool advertisement too. Shame the computer was already obsolete when it finally came out.
I've had one til a year ago, but decided to sell it again, since there was barely any software available and floppies were near impossible to get.
Never the less, technically one of the best Z80 computers ever.
Hey matt,
and the weird thing was, while i was doing this commercial, my wife was at another agency doing the Dragon ads!

I have it because I worked on it. I was the Account Director at the ad agency, Lowe Howard Spink, which made the ad.
