@spacepatrolman Yeah but this was filmed in 1974 well after the albums you are talking about were recorded. So Rosko predicted the present? Just because the clip is in black and white doesn't mean it is instantly from the fifties.

@Cameron06820 ROSCOE was fired for going into an editorial on the air about murry the Ks quitting WABC FM [ later WPLJ] over having the songs picked by computer before that they were on WORFM the first fm rock station in the nation the first record played on that station was wild thing according to richard neer in his book on early fm my friend won that album in a contest from WORFM later rosccoe narreted the tv seies africa today and did cbs sports blurbs

I worked at WQIV with Rosko, who in his days at WNEW-FM was a giant. His "comeback" to NYC radio on The Quad Squad didn't last long, but he was very kind to me. I love the old board he's sitting in front of... remnants of the WNCN format.

I can remember back in the seventies listening to WQIV NY 104 on the FM dial. My dad had this great Quad receiver... I can't remember the brand but I remember the joystick speaker control! And Rosco would sign off " This is Rosco remember I sure do love you so"
