@shawandrew The Video shows the Kata, the important things are: stance, movement, timing and balance (of yourself and the opponent). Applied to a real fight, you wouldnt fix your possibilities on the thought "next time he grabs me i'm going to do Musha dori". If you feel there is a chance for this technic, you do it. Chances are it fails so you move on to the next. If you really have trained MA then you know there is no "absolute winning" technic and there is no planing a complete fight.

@ninjamaster2995 I did ninjutsu for a few years, but never got to see this against a resisting opponent. Please post a video of yourself countering a single or double leg takedown with omote musha dori so that the world can see how effective ninjutsu can be. Oh and please make sure the guy trying to take you down really is a wrestler and really is trying to take you down for real and not just complying with your kata.

@tomerh73 I've heard of that from my instructor cause the only way to really get out of this is if he flipped.

One of my favorite Kyhon happo ! if you do it slow it's a takedown but if u do it quick you can break the shoulder uh uh uh...

my favorite ninjutsu move ever
i use it on the wrestlers at my school when they think they are gonna take me down
big suprise to them XD
0:10 you are on two line in your Ichimonji he could have kick you in the groins.

@ManabeRokuro His entire weight is on the leg you're supposing he could have kicked me with. The Kuzushi is very important exactly for the reason you stated

I have a quick question, are ninjutsu kata just a takedown with a name added to it? Every kata ive searched, thats what i saw. I take shotokan so you can understand my confusion

Kata in Ninjutsu, as wel as in any -jutsu system, are records of actual combat where the proponent survived the fight to tell what he did. In -do systems, such as Karate, Kata are meant to preserve and methodize sequences of movement.
