Sikhs Forced to Convert due to Poverty and Lack from Support of Sikh Community

Ravinder Singh from Khalsa Aid interviewing Shinda Singh, once proud and devout Sikh who was forced due to personal medical and financial reasons to convert into Christianity seven years ago. Although an active member in his community who could always be relied on for support, when he fell on hard times no Gurduwara Committee, organisation etc came to his aid. As now prevalent across Punjab Christian missionaries saw the lack of support from Shinda Singhs Sikh community as an opportunity for conversion, offering him medical and food provisions to become a Christian.

Please Support Khalsa Aid which has launched a huge project earlier this year in Punjab to tackle issues of poverty, drugs and literacy; sponsoring the education of Sikh children and supporting their family (food and medical), giving the Punjabi people an alternative than to give up their faith.

@OurThoughtExactly My message had nothing to do with the video but the disgusting comments from Hindus I was reading below. People leaving their religion and converting to Christianity do not bother me but people transforming my Sikh religion into Hindu do. I know Baba Namdev was Hindu and was born before Guru Nanak that means nothing as Baba Farid was born before both and Baba Farid's banis are most in SGGS! Yet, they may be Muslim or Hindu but they were part of Bhakti movement!
