  • OK after digging a bit more, her name is OK It is FRAIS Campbell as I said but with correct spelling. She released 3 singles on the Astor label in 1971, none of which were successful. Surprised I remember this when I forget what I said 5 mins ago LOL. Pleasant voice but a bit outta place & strait laced against gutsy blues belters of the time like Janis Joplin, Colleen Hewett & Alison MacCallum

  • Thanks Micko, your help has been invaluable.

  • its gloria loring

  • If you mean Gloria Loring, the American born

Actress/Singer,i doubt that she would be

appearing on an early 70s Australian TV

pop music show in Melbourne. If it is a

different person of the same name, can

    you elaborate?

  • Liv Maessen?

  • I can see where you are both coming from,

but i really don't think it is Liv Maessen.

For a start Liv sang with a much deeper voice,

and at the time of this video, had already had most of her chart hits, but thanks for trying

    peoples :)

  • Apparently Frais Ellen (Campbell) passed away on Mar. 29, 2007 - can anybody verify this?

  • @Mickster19592009

Her name is Frais Ellen. She was known as Frais Campbell back then though. She is my Aunty. She gave all that singing up when she got married.

  • OMG you are on a roll ru u musics wikipedia ? how nice that ppl are willing to help and share their knowledge - ur great

  • Definately NOT Liv Maessen. Dunno why I always remember her but her name is Fraize Campbell (Not sure on spelling of 1st name) I remember she was on all the shows Happening, Fred Bear, Penthouse Club singing this song when it came out so I assume she was from Melbourne but it never went anywhere chart wise. She wore same jacket with hot pants on Penthouse but looked a bit dorky compared to sexy Allison Durbin dressed in same, even when I was 12 LOL. Never saw her again but remember the name

  • Could well be Gloria Loring, I googled - she did record this song and has toured Aussie in concert 4 times in the past, though don't know when.

  • Looks like a very young Liv Maessen, but it has to be well before 1972.

Voice not as deep as in "Snowbird"
