Ken Atkins, executive director of Wake County Economic Development (www.raleigh-wake.org), has announced the release of the third video profile in the Raleigh-Wake County Business Feature, a video series profiling locally-based companies that continue to grow and remain competitive during the nations current economic slowdown. The video features Protochips, a Raleigh semiconductor technology company. The Protochips video features commentary on the Triangles photonics industry and includes interviews with Michael Zapata, chairman of the Protochips board of directors, and David Nackashi, chief executive officer of Protochips, as well as Adrienne Cole, executive director of Raleigh Economic Development. In the video, they discuss what makes the Triangle a great place for companies within the photonics industry.
