After I noticed the guangxiensis molt...so did she, also 4.5''. Also the C.ramsi sling is in definite premolt. Yay!

  • Is this the tarantula I've heard that has extremely potent venom or am I thinking of another spider that has "Whistling" in the name?

    no you must be thinking of another T. The most potent that I know of is S.calceatum (featherleg baboon). However, the venom of this species is not too far off.. I heard rumors that these species can kill small dogs.

  • nice T. in Australia we call them Phlogius crassipes. There are many Phlogius species in Queensland along with Selenotypus.
