WWII relic. A concrete road block from WW11 stood unloved and forgotten on Kirriemuir Hill. In the meantime it played host to an intriguing colony of lichens- mainly "Caloplaca Heppiana" but also some good specimens of "lecanora Calcarea".
This block was removed on 27th July 2011. The last segment shows it after removal, revealing it also had a substantial foundation.

AC/DC legend Bon Scott lived approx. 300 metres from this object and must have passed it many times.
