Rogerzilla, GREAT VIDEO, vmt for posting it. Wet track and metal plates over the cattle grids made it very interesting especially the fast downhill bit at 3.00 minutes on the video - with the ambulance team waiting on the outside of the bend!! Like you I was happy to get around without any mishaps, it was my first time and I thoroughly enjoyed it despite the weather. I finished just ahead of you (28:35) and was in wave 1, is it possible to get a copy of the whole race? Regards MrGGDuff

@MrGGDuff I have the whole race except the last 9 seconds, because the camera can only record 30 minutes at a time. I set it going a bit too long before the actual start.

@MalcolmTopsham 27:59, it turned out. One of my teammates was 3rd fastest woman, and a lot quicker than me.

Did they shelter you in the house afterwards?

@MalcolmTopsham Thanks, it was actually slower than last year at (I think) just under 29 minutes. I was just happy to make it round without mishaps in these conditions.

Thanks for posting rogerzilla - great video and music. I commute most days on my Brompton, but I've not taken part in the BWC yet. Must pencil that in for next year! Who is the music by?

Great ride!! I only managed 33:58 which to be honest i can live with due to conditions lol. must admit though those cattle grids were better than 09 they were sunk below the road line! here's to a dry sunny bwc 2011! Many thanks for posting your ride!
