• Purpose; To develop functional leg strength. This movement isolate one leg and requires support from the trunk muscles. The dummy pass introduces rotation and replicates the strength demands of rugby.
• Procedure; Stand on one leg while holding a rugby ball with both hands. Lower yourself to half squat or the depth you are able to control. Then dummy pass first to the right and then to the left. Return to start and change leg and repeat. Do not let your knee go beyond your toes. Focus on controlling the movement with the buttock of the squatting leg.
