At age seven, Shadia attended a kids' conference on Superfund sites. There she learned about Love Canal, a nearby town that was synonymous with toxic waste. She also learned that New York's Superfund was going bankrupt. Shadia spent the next nine years trying to remedy that fact. She joined Kids Against Pollution at her elementary school and became a national spokesperson for the cause. Year after year, Shadia lobbied to restore Superfund, but every year, the legislation failed. Undaunted, Shadia looked for new ways to promote the issue. One year, she set up a lemonade stand outside the state Capitol and donated the profits to Superfund, capturing media attention. Finally, Governor George Pataki signed legislation to refinance the state's Superfund, as Shadia and her fellow lobbyists looked on. "This experience has taught me so much about how democracy works, how to stick with an issue until it's won even when you feel it's not going to happen, about organizing, about staying with the facts to bring the information to the public and elected officials," Shadia said.
On a personal note, I myself have lived by a "Sanitary Landfill" This was supposed to only contain sanitary items like garbage, food waist and the like, however; chemicals such as 1,2-Dichloroethylene, Tricloroetilene, Industrial Solvents, Paint, and many other contaminants have found its way into the aquifer. It was rumored that Minnesota Mining (3M) was responsible for the contamination, and offered to dig deeper wells for the people affected, as well as cleanup. Good Presentation kiddo.

I think Shadia means well.. but she`s a puppeted baffon and doesn`t even know it. Di Shadia ever factor in corporations using weather modification to receive climate change as an objective to globally tax everyone. And does Shadia realize that again the poor countries are going to bear the brunt of such a treaty.. Shadia needs to stop being so gullible to corporate crooks.
