if u destroy the colony and still have mavericks to beat, do still get the parts even when there isn't a timer?

You get them, although the game does note you no longer need them.

how do u get all 8 parts and keep zero? this is what i did, i wasted time up to 8 hours left. then i went to fight the mavericks after a few dynamo shows up and makes use up 2 hours. now i have 1 hour left but 2 mavericks left, how can i get all 8 parts and keep zero at this rate?

You don't necessarily lose Zero after that, and you can still collect parts even after the cutscenes have passed.

i keep getting zero turn into a mavrick is there something i'm doing worng or is it random

It's random (and TASers say the number is decided in-stages, so reloading the save without playing in between attempts is a waste of time. I was able to do it without playing between attempts so I doubt it a bit, but then again I use the PC version).

You can increase your chances by beating a boss or bosses.

@wiidude000 just attack with the saber then quickly press the dash button and that will cancel the attack and you can attack very fast :D

i honestly think the gameplay on this one was the best out of all of them. only problem, too short, and there shouldve been more options for even harder difficulties. still one of the best imo

When you start as Zero, X loses his Fourth Armor and Zero keeps his Z-Buster. When you start as X, is the other way around. If you don't want Zero to become a Maverick, then let him keep his Z-Buster. Also, if you want to destroy the space colony with the Enigma, keep both characters balanced and try to get all arrmor parts, items and not to waste time (hours).
