SAMSUNG S2 BEEPING SOUND AND ERROR

My Samsung had data transfer interuppted by my laptop freezing and had to eject the Samsung while in Transfer.
I put it in again and it doesnt even recognize or detect on windows. The HDD disk doesnt even spin. It Just beeps about 6 times with the noise then makes the flash blue light in a similar pattern over n over n over =(

Help anyone!!!!!!!

my samsung s2 320gb also has a similiar problem..i plug it in and the LED flashes and the motor or sumthing starts spinning inside and also sometimes i get the windows sound also when i plug it in but the device just wont show up in my computer..plz help asap..im desperate to get back my data and also to make this piece of shit work again..any help would be greatly appreciated!

okay I kinda thought this was a joke too until I tryed to hit it.. I had to try a couple of times, but when I tryed to hit it(gently) on the side, it worked immediatly :DD and I've got all my data! thanks!!

HAHAHA! banging it actually works! i removed the hdd from its usb cable then banged it against a softer surface, in this case, just above my knee :) banging it on the table might break it. i repeated the procedure 3x until it worked. THANKS GUYS!

OMG thanks, i just hit it against the table until it started working again. I couldn't get all my data but most of it. For some it says "cannot read from the source disc". Bad sectors or file system maybe?
