  • I am an INTJ. I don't play chess. Explain that, typology theater.

  • @riverlioness Archetypes are not equivalent to actual persons. They are stylistic abstractions, in this case accentuating a quiet, strategic planning temperament conducive to such activities as playing chess or building doomsday devices, but not necessarily disposed toward said activities.

And btw, cool channel bro. Lots of INTP love here for some Austrian economics and Objectivism.

  • :D My God! I'm an ESFP, and that's dead on! :D Damn it, I'm a douche bag as well sometimes.

  • @TheRocksolid89 Glad to hear it. ESFP was not a type in which I felt I had a lot of understanding when I went into this video. INTPs tend to run from ESFPs even faster than INTJs.

  • @MBTITypologyTheater Which one is yours?

Yeah, the main thing to remember about our type, is, that we are almost always playing around. The words we say are a art form in a sense, so don't EVER make the mistake to listening to the words we say and thinking that the form equals essence. We really appreciate people, who can not take our words so seriously (and, yes, I know, sometimes we need to be more diplomatic in the words we choose).

  • @TheRocksolid89 INTP. I'm autistically literal and direct, so ESFPs and most SPs in general stress me out.

    -- I love this line.

  • Holy fucking shit, I can't even tell you how good that was. Also, how accurate. I cannot stop laughing, I am done.

  • @Hawkx101 As well, it seems to me that so many people identify as an INTJ online. I think that this has to do with fact that someone with an INTJ personality is likely to follow MBTI, but they are only a very smal portion of the population (like 2%).

I also think that is because that one google MBTI test is poorly written, so people all get INTJ from answering questions "correctly" that are poorly worded. Everyone likes to be "rational", but politics would look quite different if we all were.

  • @Hawkx101 MBTI isn't based on what you like; it is based on how your mind actually functions to gain energy (because we all have a little of everything; every type could sound like any of us). But, no, it's a series of functions we are born with that influence how we take in information, process it, and disseminate it.

I am an INTJ, and trust me, it's complicated being so awkward. But INTJ's are extraverted thinkers, and need people around them from time to time so they can explain their ideas.

  • that awkward moment when you're an INTJ and a girl flirts with you

  • The instant that chick opened her mouth, I hated her.

    Being an INTJ rocks.

  • I'm an INTJ... Dated this type... Lasted a month. I had to leave, too incompatible although we were both in the digital arts field.

  • @TheRocksolid89 Yeah, diplomatic wouldn't be the word you are looking for here. Concise would fit best.

  • I loved this conversation, the INTJ sounds very like me. I don't like to party as well and I would rather spend my time alone.
