This is a part of a concert in Torino on 27 April 1995. Sorry for the so long title at the beginning of the video, but the vhs video was damaged :-) Grondona is playing his David Rubio guitar, made in 1992.
There is another version of this piece in Martin's own handwriting? My goodness, shame on me for criticizing this player and I apologize. How can one respect the composer's intentions when this happens?
If you think so then please take a look at what Max Eschig missed (fingerings, wrong notes and whatnot) when he published Villa-Lobos' works for guitar by buying the new edition (by Frederic Zigante) which relies heavily on the manuscripts. Or maybe inform yourself on the disappointment of Castelnuovo-Tedesco about the published version (submitted by Segovia to Schott) of the Capriccio Diabolico.
Peccato non ci siano le 6 stelle, le avrei messe volentieri!

Grondona è senz'altro uno dei chitarristi italiani più interessanti.

i have a photocopy of a martin manuscript and there are things that grondona plays here which are both in there and sound drastically better
like the high chords in movement 3... these must have been editorial decisions because they completely change the character of the section

Complimenti, ottima interpretazione, e poi sono come gli originali, in effetti l'edizione revisionata da scheit ha modificato troppa roba.
