@hannasutch You have to apply, pass the testings, interview, psychologival test, training and then you're a 4th class constable. You go up every year..Once you're a first class, you can then apply to the position as a ETF officer. Hard testing and training.

@Avelerion5 Its a carbine, its meant to be small and compact for better performance for CQC, which they often do. Now run along and pretend like you didn't fail the third grade!

@TheTRAVISJUNIOR I hope that you're kidding, especially if you really are a police officer (like you claim to be.) That is not the way to deal with things at all. That comment reflects very poorly on your police department in my opinion (if you even are a cop.)

@sanscerveaux you're Canadian I assume. here in the NYPD we don't appreciate it when one of our fellow officers is killed. and yes I was kidding but our first reaction isn't to take a cop killer in. So are you a cop aswell

@TheTRAVISJUNIOR I'm glad that I understand you more now. No, I am not a police officer yet, however I am a soldier in the Combat Arms of Canada, and I know what you mean by wanting to kill someone that hurts or kills your brother in arms.

@TheTRAVISJUNIOR Taking that person in isn't our priority either, however if he surrenders or is injured to the point where he can no longer fight, we detain them. I do completely understand with what you are saying though, and I mean no disrespect to you or the NYPD. I sincerely thank you for your service as a police officer.
