Ableton Live offers 32 bit options for recording and exporting. Most of the time you shouldn't use 32bit, but this video talks about the 2 main reasons to do so - when resampling, and when exporting final mixes to be mastered.

  • Informative, an engineer i was working with said he didnt know what 32 bit fp was, whats your take on that?

  • @TrackWreckazTV , a lot of ok engineers probably don't understand 32 bit floating point, but they should at least know the basics. A google search is all that it takes, then some reading.
