This is 3 days after my surgery, my thyroidectomy Im still in tons of pain but Im hoping a lot of sleep can just cure that. The meds have me to much in a fog because its hard to consecrate and I cant complete a thought as you can see Im very frail still and very systematic still in the legs, arms eyes, vision,
My right eye lid is lower than the other and my vision is really blurry without my glasses at this point I wouldnt be able to see. Without them and I dont have that bad of vision, at this point I have been seeing double when I stare at the computer for about five minutes or so. Im always tired and I feel more weeks in the morning then I do at night Weird hu but I bet there is someone out there that has the same if not close to the same MG
Sorry to see it. I have MG and got a thymectomy, too. Got rid of the ocular problems. I still take Imuran, but not IVG. My thyroid has gone psycho and it looks like it has to come out. We belong to such an exclusive club! Keep your chin up, no pun intended!

Did you mean thymectomy, not a thyroidectomy? I have had a thymectomy due to MG over 5 years ago, and it did help a bit. Still on meds & monthly IV/IG treatment but before surgery nothing helped. I was wondering... does your neck or chest hurt if you yawn? I've had a weird pain in my chest when I let out a good yawn since.
