Site Description: THE STATION IS LOCATED ON THE ABANDONED SITE OF THE UINTA SEISMOLOGICAL OBSERVATORY IN NORTHEAST UTAH. THE SITE WAS DESTROYED WHEN THE TEMPORARY OBSERVATORY LOCATION WAS RETURNED TO THE BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT, THUS MAKING SEVERAL YEARS OF DATA USELESS. THE PROJECT HAS RECONSTRUCTED THE SITE. THE SITE IS NOW EQUIPPED WITH A UNIVERSAL PAD COMPATIBLE FOR OCCUPATION BY TLRS OR MV SYSTEMS.

From CDDIS Nasa Gov Datasets:
The CDDIS archives and distributes mainly Global Positioning System (GPS), GLObal NAvigation Satellite System (GLONASS), laser ranging (both to artificial satellites, SLR, and the moon, LLR), Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI), and Doppler Orbitography and Radio-positioning Integrated by Satellite (DORIS) data for an ever increasing user community of geophysists.
This is most likely a old laser ranging site.

The campus encompasses 1,270 acres, part of which is loaned by the nearby U.S. Department of Agriculture. These grounds include more than 33 major buildings that provide more than 3 million square feet of research, development and office space. Goddard is unique in that these facilities provide for the construction and development of spacecraft software, scientific instruments as well as the spacecraft themselves.

NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center's main campus is located within Greenbelt, Md., about 6.5 miles northeast of Washington, D.C. The center is a major U.S. laboratory for developing and operating unmanned scientific spacecraft. The center manages many of NASA's Earth observation, astronomy, and space physics missions.
