Thing is. Theres a bridge over the railway? Its not even derelict the entrance to it is just so overgrown and hidden u dont realise its there. If they were to redo that instead of re shaping this bridge we could get over to the industrial and then build a second footbridge over the river. Its so easy...

Lowestoft is OK. But someone has to take control of the bridge away from abp. Why on earth should the town be crippled so a wannabe Captain Pugwash on his piddling little yacht can go to the yacht club. Maybe pleasure craft should only be allowed through when the bridge is opened for working boats

The ABP have jurisdiction over the bridge and no matter what they will keep on putting the bridge up for a big survey ship or a small pleasure craft - whilst the rest of the town's economy is being crippled. They should weld up the bridge, make it 4 lanes and use that pedestrian bridge they made for pedestrians! Send what remaining business there is behind the bridge to Gt. Yarmouth or Felixstowe.
