http://www.lockergnome.com/subscribe/ - Can Android run on a PC? Kinda. Depends on how you define "PC." Even so, Android wasn't necessarily optimized to be run on anything other than a touchscreen device.

Have you not heard of the Android-x86 project? It is aiming to put android on x86 netbooks such as the eeepc. They have a current nightly build of Ice Cream Sandwich that you can test out using virtualbox, if you don't have a supported device. happy hacking.

I think Android should be made for PCs to give people a cheap and easy alternative to Microsoft Windows.

@SqeakyGoldfish Too much tech-knowhow needed, slick Microsoft PR, Windows is the defacto standard or simply inherited monopoly, Compatibility issues Linux-Windows in software when collaborating because isn't compatible with most of the software and hardware on the market so would be a hassle for your average user trying to find drivers, etc... Simply put there are too many noobs in this world.

@Ripafartstudios Dope? Are you literally that insulted? I know you're not that stupid, as to suggest that I mean weed solves everything. I don't partake in the use of weed, and never recommend anyone use it for any reason. I know weed doesn't cure shit, it's an abused plant that tricks people into thinking their problems go away. Having said that, all pills are derived from plants, regardless, so, in a sense, plants cure all problems. Again, specific plants - like weed - aren't in that category.
