Talking about a subject that's intrigued me ever since I saw physicist Lisa Randall give a speech at a nearby college.

  • as for the actual content you're quite wrong on many counts.

    1. a hypercube/hypersphere is an n-dimensional cube/sphere, not necessarily 4. a /tesseract/ is a 4d cube and a /glome/ is a 4d sphere.

    2. it /is/ possible to visualize 4d things, though very difficult. wendy on the tetraspace forums has achieved this, so ask her. :p

    3. our universe wouldn't necessarily have to be 4d to wrap and vice versa. it could simply be a manifold which wrapped, or it could be a non-wrapping 4d universe.

  • Aha, thank you.

  • This video is perfect, lighting, demeanor and candor. Thank you.

  • I am flattered, thank you!

  • I saw the sub comment in my in box and thought, "what?", I meant what I wrote, without any sarcasm involved, period. :) smiles to mouse.

  • Well thanks for commenting again to let me know that you weren't being sarcastic, otherwise I would have been nervously wondering!

  • and m, aside from the fact that you're probably really good at physics and video games, do you like gothic attire? How did you find me here?, although, knowing my character, I can see how you arrived at your previous comment, because only you can be omfg. laughs.

  • I do believe overlycreative was being sarcastic.

Feel free to correct me if wrong, though...

  • our own perceptual limitation is the most infuriating aspect of such discussions. However you do very well explaining both your topic and why we can't picture it. Beautiful.

  • ^.^ Needs a better camera angle to go with all the knowledge.
