Relationship of RGB to CMY and HSB

An animated representation of the relationships of the RGB, CMY, and HSB color models. The CMY color model is essentially a theoretical color model which, in the real world, must be supplemented with the addition of Black (ink/pigment; becoming CMYK). However, understanding CMY is still fairly important as these are the "secondary" colors (RGB being "primary").

Hopefully, an understanding of these models will help you take some of the guess work out of picking colors!
