@marting8nqn brill...loved the offshore radio stations...GREAT POST
-
Such a shame that "Land of Hope & Glory", The National Anthem and a test tone hetrodyne have been added instead of leaving the original recording as it was....This has spolied what is a classic piece of pirate radio history

So amazing to hear this again.

Hearing this brought back a lot of happy, AND sad memories. I was a 14year-old broken-hearted teenager that night. Thanks for sharing.

In the Nort-East Aera of Holland Radio 270 can be received by day very good. I listen often to the station

Hi, I know just what your saying, unfortunatly the music audio quality on my tape recorded live at the time of the close down was very crackely and I felt to do justice to the video adding digitaly enhanced versions of Land of open glory and national anthem just added extra poinancy to last five minutes of broadcasts from this fine station which I loved so much, the recorder I used at the time was only a small 3.5" spool to spool and I have always regreted not having something better at the time

Thanks to everyone for your comments, I also remember well that last hour of broadcasting from Radio 270 like it was yesterday, glad you all enjoyed my contribution to the memory of the station Radio 270 and ship Oceann 7.
