This song "CRYING OVER YOU" by The Dave Clark Five is very UNDER - RATED as is the band itself....over the years songs like this make even more sense to the hearts and soul of human beings.... Many consider "Because" or "Come Home" to be DC5's best slow songs, but "Cryin' Over You" without a doubt tops them both! DC5 is one of those groups that never seemed to have received the recognition that they deserved. They had a unique driving sound unlike most of the groups from the 60's era. They were able to hammer out a fast song and lay down a heartfelt track (like Cryin' Over You) with music and lyrics that could bring a tear to your eye -- which not many groups from that era could do!

DC5 had a unique sound, drive and style unlike other 60's groups -- they had the talent and ability to hammer a real rocker and lay down a slow heartfelt track that could bring a tear to your eye -- back in the days when lyrics had real meaning. The DC5 were a much-underrated and grossly overlooked group. Gone ... but not forgotten!
