I could learn more about this war in a few clips on YouTube than I ever did in school. So little is taught about wars like this, which I think are very signifigant in history.

First of all, shit, my comment was 1 year old.
Now basically, my implication of World Peace is total law and order and since only one legitimate government exist, no wars are fought. Well, excluding the occasional unrest and rebellion of course.

@marshall9doom "Yea...except people made up Governments...if you want world peace, you need a One World Totalitarian State>Total Control>World Peace"
That would never work, and it totaly also depends on what your definition of "World Peace" is....many progressives in the world believe that "Peace" or "World Peace" simply refers to the absence of conflict. The other side, in the minority, believe that "Peace" is defined of the presence of justice.

Actually Japan won, and 5 years after Japan annexated Korea .That was Korean's offer. Because Korea was extrem poor and feudal country. Japan wished to make Korea modernized as well as Japan. So Japan invested big budget into Korea, for example Rairoad, water supply, 5500 schools, electric supply with hydrogeneration power station.Any way Japan gave all infrastructure to Korea. In
1945 Korea could be independency. If Russia won ,even now Korea is under Russian control . Korea chose better way
