http://RapeofNanking.info Rape of Nanking - Nanjing Massacre. Japanse Atrocities in Asia. Part I of 2. This documentary, by Rhawn Joseph is based on 20 years research and consists entirely of archival photos and film-clips. This film begins with an overview of Japan and China at the beginning of the 20th Century, explains the mind-set of the Japanese and their God, Hirohito, and then continues with the invasion of China, the crimes committed by the Japanese (during the Fall) on the road to Nanjing, Nanjing Massacre, the rape of the Philipines, Unit 731, the Baatan death camps, Japanese denials, and the dropping of the A-bomb on Japan.

The purpose of this film is educational, and to explain the mind-set that led to a horrible crime: the torture and murder of 280,000 civilians by Japanese soldiers who took great pleasure in raping, bayonetting, beheading and burning people alive. We wish to emphasize: These crimes took place throughout Asia, and the Japanese planned the same for the White races as well, including America.

Those who do not learn from the past, are condemned to repeat it. The purpose of this film is, thus, educational. We have no hatred for the Japanese people.

This documentary is an independent production. We are not associated with and never received any financial help from the Chinese government or any group or organization. The film is completely independent. We have no political motives. We have no purpose and no other goal other than to create an interesting, provocative, educational movie that speaks to the mind and intellect, and which can speak to the heart and one'e emotions.

ABOUT TED LEONSIS: We sent a VHS copy of this film and a marketing plan to the top executives at many internet companies including AOL and Ted Leonsis in the summer of 2005. We believe that Leonsis stole our idea for this film and then stole our marketing plan. People we later learned were working for Leonsis falsely pretended to represent us and our film and then stole over $25,000 in donated production funds then harassed and threatened our co-producer Haiyan Wu. Those organizing showings of our film in China were even threatened, even though our film was being praised by all the major newspapers and media in China, including the Communist mouth piece, The People's Daily. Who benefited by the attempts to stop our film? Ted Leonsis.

Nevertheless, our film was shown in Nanking in December of 2007, the 70th anniversary of the Rape of Nanking. Unlike the Leonsis film which failed in Nanking, the showing of our film was a tremendous success and the theater was packed and people stood and lined the walls. A second showing in Wuhan China was even more successful. Whereas, in China, the Leonsis film was shown largely to empty seats, over 1,800 people showed up to watch our film in Wuhan and 300 had to be turned away.

Don't be fooled by Leonsis.

China Central TV called our film "the best... most influential film ever made on this tragedy."

Indeed, our film has been viewed an estimated 16 million times world wide, 100s of copies of this film are hosted on Chinese websites, and it has been viewed over 8 million times in the US.

  • @kaito8209 and the holocaust never happened. the big bang never happened. i wasnt there, thus it never happened. i wish i lived a sheltered life like you. how disrespectful you are of the people who suffered. i understand sceptics. but just because you doubt doesnt mean it didnt happen.

  • @porterbehling i know for a fact american military has commited atrocities. unfortunately i have witnessed such things first hand. but nothing close to nanking. what happenedd there was on a huge scale and was allowed by generals. eventhough recently soldiers who murdered women and children in iraq were not punished. listen, a nationalistic mentality is stupid. facts are facts.

  • @ambermiax3 now look, i'm probably coming off like a jerk, and i'm sorry. But that fact that you would actually believe American soldiers would rape Iraqi women (because you read it from some poor sources) is just frustrating. You are young, and you still do not understand a lot. And i understand this. And your father is in the Navy, so I would hope that when you get a little older, you will realize the error of your ways. Just remember, you are making accusations against the Men that defend you

  • @ambermiax3 oh, and your father is in the Navy? he must be soooo "proud" of you.

  • @ambermiax3 but, lets check our your sources.... the first one is from a "aztlan" news site... a small Mexican online news site... not that reliable. The second source, is a anti-Israel radical site. They appear to be anti-jew as well... pro Gaza... once again, a terrible source. (Unless you are some kind of Nazi lover?_). And the third source couldn't even give pictures or proof... just the word of some Antonio Taguba.

    You call this... proof?

  • @ambermiax3 ah yes... the pictures you sent me... what i see are fake photos. Let me explain... one those are NOT American soldiers. Why, because if that is Iraq, why are they wearing green camo? And why is it that they painted their faces green band black... as though for forest terrain in a desert setting? Their military jackets do not have the U.S. flag on them. the photos are blurry. Those are NOT American soldiers clearly.

  • AND ALSO this documentary is trying to convince viewers that all japanese people were brainwashed monsters under Hirohito's rule. Which is in turn used to justify Hiroshima and Nagasaki. In reality, the atom bombs slaughtered innocent civilians, regardless of how patriotic they were and whether or not it ended WW2, it doesn't matter if you bomb Hiroshima, Helsinki or New York. Still, it's mass murder.

  • Japan is doing quite fine without its own brand of right wing denialists. Building houses of cards to claim "we really didn't do it" 70 years after the incident is waste of energy, and I would claim that such is the case even IF the claims about fraud were true. Truth doesn't matter if you're stupid enough to go to war and end up being on the losing side. Japan's cool nowadays, because they put fans to their jackets when its hot, and make steaks from human feces in lab conditions.

  • JAPAN IS BORING, I GET BORED JUST THINKING ABOUT JAPAN, CHINA IS MUCH BETTER THEN THE CRUEL LAND OF THE JAPANESE SAVAGE.

  • Chinese people are telling lies enthusiastically even their story was ridiculous theory, so some people will be mind controlled by their lies. The Chinese believe that telling lies 100 times, this could have lead to becoming true story from the lies. We have to be careful.
