This montage was inspired by this beautiful music by Marco Frisina. I wanted to portray here a captive St Peter looking back over the life of Jesus, remembering Christ's mercy and understanding of his weakness - saving him from drowning as he tried to step out in faith... then facing his own crucifixion. Finally being rescued by Jesus taking him home to heaven. I do not own copyright to many of the images and apologize as no copyright infringement intended, but credit where I know the source of images. They have been chosen for their relevance to the salvation story and for their beauty. Stills from the movie Jesus of Nazareth; paintings by Gerard Van Honthorst, Caravaggio and William Holman Hunt. The last image of Jesus is one I drew myself using the Shroud of Turin as a base for the placement of the features. Jesus understands our weakness and wants nothing more than to be loved, trusted and asked for his help as he alone can bring us through the trials we face in this life, to our home in heaven. He IS love itself and loves ALL mankind. Jesus' message is clear: NEVER harm another human being in the Name of God. God loves us all. Through the faithfulness of the Jewish people, Yeshua came for all, and because of those Jewish people like Peter who first knew him, we have all come to know of the Messiah.
I think this is simply one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard.
